Psalm 61

Lord, listen to the pray'r I make,
Give heed unto my cry;
My heart is faint, yet I will seek
A higher rock than I.

A refuge You have been for me,
A tow'r of strength secure;
Your tent my dwelling place shall be,
Your wings a shelter sure.

The king shall reign for many a day
By love and truth preserved;
Before the Lord he will abide,
His heart for God reserved.

Th' inheritance of those who fear
The Lord is giv'n to me;
I'll sing Your praise forevermore
That all Your love may see.

Psalm 65

Your chosen people will declare
Your praise, Lord, Christ, for answered prayer.
All tribes shall come on bended knee,
From sin and shame you set us free.

You calm the storm, our turmoil cease;
Our fears transform, Your Word brings peace;
From rising sun to going down,
Your deeds bring joy to farthest town.

Heav'n's Branch, connected to the vine,
Though crushed, brings forth new life, new wine.
The Bread of Life, to feed our souls,
Your Spirit poured on flesh o'erflows.

Great Shepherd, who supplies our need,
In pastures green your flock shall feed.
On hills of joy we hear Your Word,
With palms we shout, "Hosanna," Lord.
